Received in December 2008 - ALIA membership certificate, badge, card.
I had debated for a while about becomming an ALIA member, mainly because, living where I do I couldn't think of much they could 'do for me'.
This reminded me about the paper Katie Watson gave at the symposium, about "getting more bang for your buck" from your membership. That is "getting the best experience and value for money..."
The basic premise being, do you look at your membership as a 'showbag' or an 'investment', and I realised I was doing the former.
Time to change that...:-) kalgrl
