Thanks to Kathryn at librarians matter for the pointer to the Beta version of Google Lively its a live chat with rooms/avatars etc.
I went on and created a room or island tbisle and this was easy to do.
I will come back later, toooooo much lag at the moment, kids home and garden beckons...
